The Higgins Beach parking lot is being offered for sale to the town of Scarborough to ensure public access to the beach. SeeĀ Forecaster article. The Trust for Public Land and Northern New England Surfrider are teaming up for an appeal for funds. Here is their appeal letter, and Donor Card.
$25,000 by March 15th. Down to the wire!
